Golden milk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole, organic, non-homogenized cow milk or unsweetened Almond milk

  • ½ tsp. ghee

  • ⅛ tsp. organic turmeric powder

  • ⅛ tsp. organic vanilla beans

  • ⅛ tsp. organic cardamom powder or black pepper

  • ⅛ tsp. organic cinnamon

  • ⅛ tsp. organic grated ginger

  • 1 tsp. honey or maple syrup


Preparation and cooking time: 5 mins.

Add the ghee, the grated ginger, and spices into a pot, then add the milk. Bring the milk to a boil and turn off immediately. Then, add the maple syrup, but if you are using honey, let the milk cool to a moderate temperature before adding. Pour into a mug and enjoy this nourishing gift.
